Sanktion, Sanktionierung Aus dem Parlaments-Lexikon Der Begriff Sanktionierung entstammt dem Französischen und bedeutet "billigen, Gesetzeskraft verleihen". Daraus ergibt sich als natürliche Folge die Sanktion, die Strafmaßnahme (siehe auch lateinisch sancire: heiligen, als heilig und unverbrüchlich festlegen). Durch den Rechtsakt der Sanktionierung billigt die DG-Regierung die im DG-Parlament verabschiedeten Dekrete und bestätigt deren regelkonformes Zustandekommen.
